How to use BannerFlex

Linking a YouTube account

You must link your YouTube account so BannerFlex can update your banner.

After selecting Link YouTube account you are redirected to Google:

• Choose a Google account
• Select a YouTube channel
• Agree to the requested permissions (BannerFlex cannot work without these)

You can unlink your YouTube account any time.

Banner backup

When your YouTube account is linked, BannerFlex saves a copy of your current channel banner.

Whatever changes happen on your channel, you can restore the original by selecting Restore.

This image is also used as the base image when you configure a dynamic banner.

Configure dynamic banner

There are two types of banner you can configure in BannerFlex:

1. Simple banner

Overlay any text onto your banner image.

2. Countdown

Build excitement for a new video or product release.

1. Configure a launch date.
2. Set your banner text.
3. Include the ${days} token, which gets replaced by the number of days remaining.
4. Set final text to use after the launch date.

Your banner will automatically update every day until launch.
